ABOUT THE INTERPRETER
Communication is about more than words.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, with a minor in Childhood Development.
I’m the son of an excellent interpreter who was highly regarded in her field, so interpreting was part of my world long before it became my profession. I grew up in a bilingual and bicultural family where interpreting was part of daily life.
Behind every conversation, there are two people trying to understand each other. My background in psychology, child development, language, and culture shapes the attention I bring to context, tone, and clear communication.
As a California Court Certified Interpreter and CMI-Spanish (NBCMI), I provide English-Spanish interpreting for legal, medical, professional, community, and specialized assignments throughout Southern California.

La comunicación va más allá de las palabras.
Obtuve una licenciatura en Psicología de California State University, Northridge, con una especialización secundaria en Desarrollo Infantil.
Soy hijo de una excelente intérprete, muy respetada en su profesión, así que la interpretación formó parte de mi vida mucho antes de convertirse en mi trabajo. Crecí en una familia bilingüe y bicultural donde la interpretación formaba parte de la vida diaria.
Detrás de cada conversación hay dos personas tratando de entenderse. Mi formación en psicología, desarrollo infantil, idioma y cultura influye en la atención que presto al contexto, el tono y la claridad de la comunicación.
Como intérprete certificado por los Tribunales de California y CMI-Spanish (NBCMI), ofrezco interpretación inglés-español para asuntos legales, atención médica, reuniones profesionales, actividades comunitarias y trabajos especializados en todo el sur de California.

THE WORK
Where do you need me?
My regular work includes legal and medical assignments, but interpreting has also taken me well outside the usual conference room or exam room. I’ve interpreted dubbing work, Canva Create 2026, live singing, Disneyland visits, and Los Angeles tour escort assignments.
Whatever the setting, I prepare for the assignment, review terminology in advance when appropriate, and focus on making sure the people in the room can understand each other clearly.
